If the software is unable to detect the microphone in the measurement area for more than 10 seconds, you will get ‘Cannot locate the microphone’ error. Please enable the Single-Step mode if you need more time to move the microphone around your studio.
If the software is failing to locate the microphone correctly, please make sure that you are using the same audio interface sound card for input and output, and have not changed the interface settings (sample rate, buffer size) after you first launched Reference Measure app. You will have to start over if you changed your audio interface settings. If the problem persists, contact support.
